- Nylon (NY) membrane is one of the most popular membranes and for good reason. Good flow rates, hydrophilic, and available with and without a Glass Fibre pre-filter for increased sample loading and ease of use. Nylon is an extremely clean and strong membrane with very low extractable levels and is a good 'workhorse' membrane choice where acidic samples are not involved.
- Nylon syringe filters can be sterilised by autoclave at 125℃ for 15 minutes.
